Canada is home to over 97 universities accommodating 1.8 million students from across the world. These universities, ranking among the top universities of the world endeavor at providing quality education in an inclusive environment. An offer letter from a Canadian university/college is a pathway to higher education in a safe environment.
We, at CanDen Immigration Services, make your journey comfortable by assisting you with your study permit application as we understand the nuances for a successful study permit application and can help you with your first milestone towards an illuminating future.
To work in Canada after you graduate, you need a work permit. The work experience you gain while working may help you qualify for permanent residence.
You may be eligible for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) if you graduated from a Designated Learning Institute (DLI) and want to stay in Canada temporarily to work.
Graduation from a DLI doesn’t automatically make you eligible for a PGWP. The DLI from where you graduated and duration of course are some of the factors that determine the validity of your PGWP.

Candidates who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents, and are admissible to Canada, require a Visitor Visa or Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) to enter Canada. Visitor visas are valid for a maximum period of six months. While entering Canada, the officer may decide the length of your stay and mention the same in your passport.
To qualify for a TRV, you must have a valid travel document, proof of funds to sustain in Canada for the required period, and be able to prove your intent of returning back to your home country at the end of your stay.
As against a regular tourist visa which is valid for 6 months, a Super Visa for parents/grandparents is a multiple entry visa valid for 10 years allowing them usually to stay for a period of two years at one go. To qualify for Super Visa, your parents need to provide documentary evidence to prove their relationship with you, undergo a medical test and meet the insurance requirement. Unlike parent sponsorship, dependent children cannot be included in the Super Visa application.
As a citizen/permanent resident of Canada, you are required to fulfil certain requirements to ensure submission of a complete application.
We, at CanDen Immigration Services, take care of the minute details as we understand the nuances for a successful Super Visa application and can help you reunite with your family.
Based on your situation, you may be eligible to apply for:
Open work permit: It allows you to work for any eligible employer
Employer-specific work permit: It allows you to work for a specific employer for a specific duration and location.
Irrespective of the type of work permit, you must be admissible to Canada, have enough funds to support you during your stay, and satisfy an officer of your intent to return to your home country at the expiry of your work permit. You can apply for a work permit if your spouse, common-law partner or parents have a valid study or work permit.
